Publicity – is a part of it creating and then refuting the controversy AS MEDIA **ORE remaining in news. However more important is back in 2009 she had mallified Burman and Wadia over the SA brawl by giving press releases in India – brawl, beaten up, molested a woman etc etc. Someone had questioned her about that so this year she is taking opportunity to prove it wrong by playing the same game on herself? Could u have imagined this… Well not. Tell that to Burman and Wadia if u have any clout with them that its a matter of time – they are in for big trouble!.

Also in context of Ness note her emphasis on terms like “heir” “fortune” and “Jinnah connection”. She seems to think those are his only qualifications and chooses to completely forget brother Jeh Wadia!! Recall that before a decade, the Wadias were synonymous with patriotism, Indian nationalism, contributions to Indian business and the local Indian society. Interestingly after Zinta’s association, she has heavily publicized the Jinnah connection -giving press releases on her meetings with Dina Wadia or planting articles referring it again and again and in the process trying to put the Wadias at a disadvantage in India – having to justify their Indianness or their patriotism or face skeptical eyes so that she could then play a larger than life image of a Zara of Veer Zara bridging the India –Pak gap. Not surprising Ness had to recently justify his 200 years roots or his patriotism and intent to remain in India or having to say India is his motherland…. in the recent hospital issue.
As to IPL being her baby or she mothering it ..huh? After having so many public linkups they completely deny …then this ranting is entirely possible.
As to her tirade of press releases crying hoarse “she is not selling her IPL team” – how can a minority stake holder exercise right to yell on others’ behalf? Others were planning to sell way back in March 2010 before any IPL controversies began. But she is trying her level best to misrepresent facts – using words like faulty monetary transactions etc as reasons for exit plans. She seems to be desperately trying to obstruct their exit plans by such false reasons – when in reality her own fund sources are a question.
Frankly I found it weird too how some argument that happened in South Africa could have been blown out of proportions in India with rather slanderous words used in context of Burmans and Wadias who are supposed to be decent,well reputed industrialists. I think that was the time Ness Wadia had just announced his break up with Preity Zinta. Maybe one of her ways to get back…

Hey Jack..interesting comments and quite thought provoking too. Main question is where is she getting the money for all this publicity with no films. Just heard Rani say she has no funds for IPL and Rani is more well known and has done many more films than Preity. Then what are Preity’s sources of funds? She must have paid at least 30Cr for 3 seasons and 25Cr bank guarantee to get in this time in IPL4. It is very very shady. Journos need to do some serious sleuthing to find this out

Yeah the two guys look very weird. She treats them like paltu kutte – spot boys. She runs on pitch, they run on pitch. She jumps up and down with hands up they do that too.What’s with them.? With their stature this looks disgusting – she is just an Urmila Mataondkar..
IPL is not sports. Players are bought and sold at a price like in a mandi bazaar. They are traded with price tags on them and some are SOLD and others remain UNSOLD. Preity Zinta can be a cricket fan and watch cricket from outside. Isn’t it strange that actresses mostly turn out to be tragic figures. The past proved it, time will tell with this generation.
After reading so many stories about her, I’m really in shock. She is completely someone other than her public image. I have someone in my family like that, so I don’t think it’s impossible she could do all these things. When you see her in the (full) IPL4 auction, you know she has lost touch with reality. She is SO camera-obsessed, it’s not funny.
Yes, people around her are not free of any blame. But she has no right to interfere in other peoples personal space. She doesn’t take rejection lightly and she seems to be suffering from some personal disorder (of course that’s speculation). Her fathers early death and the glamorous life seem to have made a huge impact on her adult life.
She has a tough road ahead of her, because no one thinks she’s cute anymore. Her chances to bag a rich guy are completely over. But she is very dangerous. She proved that with Wadia and Burman (this would never make any news if it wasn’t for her, these guys are so connected). So she will make everyone pay for her miserable life.
I, too, wonder about her funds, if she really experienced the tsunami, her drug habit, her ‘escort’ services, her beef with Shiney Ahuja, her live-in relationships (publicly she doesn’t endorse it) and so on…
And her twitter fans that she touts… recently Ash hinted at Preity’s fake twitter accounts. It is so obvious. If she really had 5lac fans and would be so puipular she’d have movies…she pays ppl to patronise her who else wud call her sun and moon blaaaah?ridiculously insane
Saif and Preity had it going for long during and after Salaam Namaste. Then why is Saif with Kareena and not her? Looks like Zinta cant compete my Kareena however much she thinks herself to be smart.
Dutchie thats not all..the dubious deals go far beyond. She paid Amrohi some paltry monthly sums and tried to usurp his land worth 100Cr in a paltry sum of 30Cr. Dalali bhi karti hai. And this hue and cry about courting controversies, all of them are planted by her only
