Bollywood actor Jiah Khan committed suicide in her Juhu flat on Monday night at 11 pm. The reason of her suicide is still unknown. Preliminary reports suggest that Jiah committed suicide though the cause of her death is still unconfirmed. Dia Mirza reportedly broke the news of Jiah’s death on micro blogging site Twitter.
Also known by the name Nafisa Khan, Jiah made her Hindi film debut in 2007 opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the controversial Nishabd. The following year, Jiah went on to appear in the commercially successful Ghajini with Aamir Khan. The actress was last seen in Sajid Khan’s multi-starrer Housefull in 2010. Reacting to the shocking news of Jiah Khan’s suicide, Amitabh Bachchan Tweeted:

I am a huge admirator of her. And I am so upset about the fact she has never made it big in Bollywood although she was full of talent.

I have to agree with Sang. All those in the same fraternity are so prompt with offering condolences, but not many visit the family. Worse is some columnists writing stupid articles on the deceased purely based on assumptions.
