Shahrukh Khan sure knows how to make mega bucks. The first ever commercial SRK and his wife Gauri Khan did together for an interiors brand – Decor added a whopping Rs. 18 Crores to their wealth. Wow, that’s a hell lot of moolah for a commercial shot over 3 days.
I wonder how much would King Khan charge if a brand takes on the whole family – SRK, Gauri and the kids. Maybe Rs. 50 Crores. I won’t be shocked if some brand really comes up and offers that. I also fail to understand if Decor will gain by spending so much by using SRK & Gauri for a commercial. In fact I never understood the craze foe celebs as models. I wouldn’t buy anything because a Ad has Sharukh, Big B, Small B or for that matter any star. Would you?
But on the hindsight, some product categories may gain. SRK also does TAG Heuer. Here you can see him shooting the first ever TV spot for TAG for India. Wonder how much he made out of this!
sorry im not trying to be a grammer check for u…or pointing out a fault…but just wanted to let u know that the title for this blog is misleading….it says SRK and gauri paid a whopping Rs. 18 cr for decor add…makes the reader feel they paid as opposed to they got paid….sorry once again….hope u dont mind….!!
